Customer service was above and beyond when my boyfriend wanted to set up a room to propose to me in, they handled everything and did it fast enough that I never knew! ;) -
Needless to say, the BEDS! I love Hampton's beds. But that being said, the staff were wonderful and the overall experience was excellent.

I traveled to Birmingham with a group of high school students and we felt very comfortable with our stay at The Redmont Hotel in downtown Birmingham, AL. Continental breakfast was adequate, beautiful historical building, rooms were great! Students loved the "ghost history"! We had a fabulous stay! Would definitely stay there again! -

Service was good; they called a cab for us. No problems in booking. Bathroom was small but everything worked fine. Flatscreen cable TV.

The front desk staff was professionally friendly and courteous, and acknowledged me upon entrance to the hotel. The breakfast selection was good with w/fruit, cereals, nice layout. The location. I was there for a surgical procedure at UAB Hospital. Being able to stay there and not have to fight traffic was beneficial to me and my family. I would definitely stay there again, hopefully the next time for pleasure.

We were passing through Birmingham and did not visit the city centre. This hotel was well-placed for travellers passing through, being close to the interstate highway. Cahaba shopping village nearby (down the back lane), nice breakfast, quiet, convenient to downtown (10 min drive) and Vulcan Park (5 min drive). After staying in 2 star motels night after night, the Hampton Inn's in Birmingham & Montgomery were a step up in comfort.
