  Can't fault the food, good honest home cooked food, extraemly good sized portions and very well cooked, not the usual "fine dining " served up in country inns, which is why we booked up at the pheasent, the mixed grill is a must!! not silly pots with drizzel on the plates but a good well presented dish.. well done!! also beer was very good and wel... co mówią ludzie » l kept. breakfast was again like the evening meal, superb, set me up for the whole day, did not eat again till near 8pm so thanks again and if we were - Great welcome from assistant manager Ryan. E He has excellent customer service skills. The room was pleasant the beds good quality and the area quiet and rustic. Was babysiting for the family who were at a wedding at a larger hotel close to Oakham and the room rate was half that hotel and comfort wise we experienced twice as much. For a 10 min drive stay at The Old Pheasant Inn

  Really liked it , what stood out from most hotels was all the staff were young? But the most impressive thing was that these young staff were absolutely superb they had good personality s and were so efficient? 10 out of 10 for the whole team. - We had a fantastic weekend.
