  It was very friendly without being intrusive, felt relaxed, location was perfect, breakfast although it said was continental, was more than enough choice. Over the past 20yrs I've eaten in the pub/restaurant many times but had never stayed in the hotel before. I will definatley being staying there again, i hope very soon. We needed sheets for the pull out bed and the young lad came up made the bed and was a really nice lad. We had our evening meal and breakfast there which was lovely and plenty of choice for the fussiest eater. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.

  Excellent facilities, very helpful staff, the room (19) was very comfortable with HD TV, the shower in the bathroom was vey powerful, the food was very good, unfortunaltly I can't comment on the breakfast because I had to leave before 7.30am.   Just about everything! Very nice well appointed room. High standard of cleanliness throughout with great attention to detail. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate , bottled water and fruit juice included. Proprietor, Tina, was friendly and efficient. Situated a few miles outside Exeter a short walk to lovely village pub serving good food. - This is a top place. It has all the little extras that you could hope for including luxurious bathrobe and chocolates. Room was spacious and garden was lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. Convenient bus into Exeter. Half Moon pub in local town excellent food and amazing value. Best kept secret and thank you to our patron for recommending it. Lovely walking area with great paths. Would definitely go back if we had the chance. Sorry to leave.
