  Although a very old building our room was spacious, quiet and furnished with high quality furniture. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was really delicious and cooked to order on this visit as there were few guests the night we stayed.   Easy access from main road. Parking available. Friendly and helpful hostess. Cosy and comfortable room and bed.   Very cheap night away and the bar is fantastic at £1.70 a pint , staff were great even had a number for the local takeway.   Friendly staff, super meals, comfortable beds and lovely old building, yes it was slightly tired, worn carpets ect.., but if I wanted modern and new I would have booked another hotel. There was lashings of hot water, heating on full, crisp white linen on beds and duvets.
