  This was the second time staying at this hotel. The owners are friendly and courteous and the facilities are what you would expect of a hotel with a much higher star rating. We stayed in a self catering room on this occasion and found it to have everything we needed for a wonderful stay.   What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome. Our room was a delight, quite large with a large bathroom, with both shower and bath. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order. We found the service to be excellent, very friendly and helpful. We only had chance to eat in their restaurant once, but the food was of a good standard. The open fire in the bar is so lovely!
