  Relaxed and laid back atmosphere was great, could float around in our spa gowns and slippers. Lovely room, breakfast was amazing. Some spa hotels have a strict check in at 3pm and leave by 11am, Charlton House were happy to let us use the spa for as long as we liked both on day of arrival and departure. Teen treatment prices...FAB idea! - We liked the 'shabby chic' feel of the place. Even though the Mulberry fabrics and furnishings were a bit 'tired' in certain places - it did not seem to matter too much as it added to the charm of the place. Important details such as good quality linen/ bedding/ towels/cutlery etc did not disappoint.

  The hotel and its fascilities were second to none. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and was full of charachter. The food was amazing with a great dining room service. Montys spa was great, clean and we had a couple of treatments which were again very good.
