  A superb example of how to modernise a traditional country inn to the highest standard, and still retain its historic 17th century character. Amazing, just wonderful! Super facilities, including a shower that beats most 4 or 5-star hotels. How refreshing! No airs and graces, no artificial 'modern' politeness. The staff, without except - The staff were exceptionally helpful & kind while also giving a great feeling of being laid back & welcoming. The food was amazing the surroundings were fabulous & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will most certainly return & wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Pigs to everyone.
