  The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. It was so lovely and comfortable that we did not really want to leave the hotel for the concert / meeting friends that was the reason for the visit. Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

  The 2 nights spent at Blythswood was enjoyable from the moment we entered the door into the foyer, due to the ambience and the reception received from the staff on duty. Staff can't do enough for you and embody the friendliness and humor that make Glasgow Glasgow. The spa is amazing and free evenings and mornings for guests.   Much has been written about Ardtorna already, and when we arrived the welcoming and gracious owners had just returned from picking up another "best of..." award. We only stayed one night, but it was our best night's sleep in Scotland, which speaks for the bed and bedding. The view was beatiful, and all rooms have it.   Rhona is so friendly, we were made feel so welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. An absolutely stunning home with beautiful scenery and the upmost attention to detail.
