The host was probably the nicest person that we have ever met!
Everything was great from the beginning when we found ourselves in the
hall till friendly good-bye. We loved the breakfast with haggis, real
feast in the morning! There is a warm, homely atmosphere in the house
and we will get back there sooner or later and maybe this time we will

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The building was impressive from the outside and comfortable inside. Lovely, comfortable room with large, en suite bathroom and well-appointed furnishings. Complimentary "wee drams" (small glasses of whisky) were available 'til 11 pm in the drawing room -- but we got back too late from the pubs to try! :)

Alison the owner was extremely helpful. From the moment I arrived she recommended where within walking distance I could get an evening meal and this helpfulness continued throughout my stay. Almost reluctant to recommend this gem as would like to keep it as a secret but that would be unfair. Alison had the highest standards I have ever encountered and she deserves the highest accolades going. This is a definite for anyone going to the Stirling area
