The Bisque bistro in the hotel was a really great place to eat. The food and service was excellent and good value for money.   Very friendly welcome. We were in Edinburgh to see the rugby match and the Granville was one of a few places to stay that didn't demand you booked both the Friday and Saturday nights or else charged more than usual for the Saturday night. It is walking distance to the centre. It was comfortable and quiet. Everything we needed for short stay on the city. - Staff very friendly and helpful, willing to provide anything we needed. Room fairly large with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast in lovely front room. Good location near canal and we could walk into city in 20 mins.
