We stayed in apartment 2, which was perfect for our needs. The apartment was spacious, with a newly refurbished bathroom, a full kitchen, and a large sitting room in addition to the comfy bedroom. It was a wonderful choice to live in Livingstone - Everything was excellent, the location, the cleanliness, comfort, and design. The flat was well painted and refurbished, looking very clean, tidy and cozy. Riccardo, the owner, is a gentleman, VERY helpful and promptly answered all our enquiries. I definitely recommend this place.

  We were very satisfied with this accomodation, good location, shops and restaurants were very close and we could park our car without problems. We can recommend Tesco for buying food, which is about 200metres far from the house. In the area of the port you can buy fresh fish at the fishmonger´s. Bus stop outside door.Leith offers several top quality restaurants. Royal Brittanica Yacht, and Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre. Plenty to see and do, would return.

  The people at Martins Guesthouse were very friendly and the breakfast was perfect. I had the small room with a tiny ensuite bathroom on the top floor, but I knew that beforehand and I do not need much space - so it was perfectly ok for me. The bedroom was clean, bright and well set out given the limited space. The bathroom, whilst also small had everything you need and unlike many higher rated accommodation I've stayed in hot water was available at all times and at a constant temp. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.

Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk to Princes Street. We did not mind. There are buses going that way every 10 mins. Apartment had a nice homely feel with a lovely private garden which we enjoyed. Much better than living in an hotel room. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
