The hotel was nice and modern and we received a good welcome on our arrival. Good parking facilities and the bar was also a nice surprise! We walked into the town centre during the day (approx. 10 mins), however, a taxi was necessary during the evening. excellent hotel will recommend to friends. We thought the service was excellent the rooms were great with a lot of attention to detail. These apartments are very well appointed and are located close to Montpellier. We had an issue originally because we were allocated an apartment on the top floor which meant a climb involving 64 stairs We asked to be moved and to be fair the management did manage to accommodate us on the ground floor for the final two days of a four day booking.

What a stunning and beautifully presented apartment. We stayed in Apt 4 which had two bedrooms and an upper floor with gorgeous lounge and well equipped kitchen. We could live here!!! Fantastic. It has set the benchmark for all apartments we hope to find in the future and so convenient for central Cheltenham.

The owners were very accomodating and friendly, the apartment was spacious and clean with wooden flooring and leather sofa. The kitchen was fully equipped and manuals were at hand in case of a problem. The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. The staff were very welcoming, very friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Our room, in the main building, had beautiful views over the rear garden and ponds. Self catering apartments were good as usual- some improvements noticeable eg outdoor table and chairs for relaxing on the deck, door wedges provided. All the usual niceties too like plenty of tea and coffee, toiletries, water and fruit in the gym, towels provided in th pool area etc -

Close to centre of town. Long stay parking nearby if you can't get one of attached parking spots. Loved the studio apartment in the garden, it was just right for us. Shame it was too cold or wet to sit outside. -
