  Everywhere was so clean, cosy and comfortable. We felt valued by the friendly owners.The en-suite bathroom was large and had separate bath and shower facilities. Towels were beautifully soft. The hospitality tray was the best I have ever seen. Also the provision of a separate lounge for guests was a bonus. Facilities to make a variety of hot drinks with no limit imposed by limiting the amount of milk available. Good hearty breakfast. Near to A64(M) so able to break a long journey without having to go to far and not as soulless as a Travel Lodge.

  The location of The Ship is good, in a lovely village. We were able to park right outside the door. Staff were welcoming and the room was lrge, very comfortable, with everything we needed and nice extras like bottled water and biscuits. The room was very clean and comfortable with Wi-Fi which allowed me to work in room. The food was great and I was made to feel very welcome by the staff. All in all a great stayed which I would recommend to anyone.
