  The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - anywhere. Lovely room - great hospitality tray including your own fresh coffee. Bathroom was great - plug/combined tap was a bit hard to fathom at first but modern bathroom appliances are a steep learning curve for some and easy for others.   Families well catered for Staff are Fantastic and Friendly Always and are very children friendly at all times Most of the food is Good, Fish is excellent and Breakfast is also excellent and service is very good considering the volume of customers and amount of covers being served. The upstairs Boathouse restaurant has views across the cove and we had dinner watching the sun set. The food was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The view and sound of the sea from our room. The location is brilliant for walking the coast path to beautiful bays, and only 15 minutes drive to Salcombe. The village of Hope Cove is really pretty and quiet, with a very small Post Office stores.
