The staff made us feel very welcome and worked very hard. Loved everything about our stay here. Really friendly and helpful staff who are all a credit to the hotel. Room had great view across to the lake. Large comfy bed, loads of storage space, hot and powerful shower, huge bath towels and more. Would definitely recommend evening meal at hotel. Food cooked to order so served fresh and hot. The hotel is in an excellent location to see the Lake District. The only issue is the parking. The hotel does not own the parking lot so you must pay to use it. The lot is also rather small so you may have to park on the street and move your car by 9:00 in the morning or be ticketed. -
