  Beautiful and historic building in a dramatic setting. Most of the staff were great and very accommodating and they tried sorting out any issues quickly (there's a new GM) Lovely pool area indoor and out Clock tower restaurant was fun and very relaxed with charming staff. We spent one full day exploring the grounds, which are beautiful and situated on the Thames river. Very relaxing and peaceful. Also a very close and easy drive to Heathrow. We stayed there for our last two days in England, after a long trip and it made getting to Heathrow very easy.

  Apart from the beautiful surroundings and the hotel itself, the thing that impressed me the most at the Oakley hotel, was the attitude of the staff.   Pretty much everything. The place is very welcoming with excellent service from the staff. The room was airy and light, modern but in an old setting.
