  A wonderful location almost on the beach. Very friendly staff and good food. A marvellous old building with a lively pub bar that was warmed by an open fire. It was frequented by locals and guests though the noise could not be heard from our room. It was an atmosphere that encouraged people to talk. Our room was very comfortable a - This is a quintessential 'little' Cornish Hotel, few have survived the ravages of recession and poor summers, but this is well run. It has a fabulous location close to Port Isaac, but away from the 'trippers' that you tend to get there. The staff are lovely and the management could not be more helpful. Walks from here are endless and varied, if you like the rugged Cornish coast this is a 'must'.
