us. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. I am so in love with the
breakfast choices. They are all great E.G. egg benedict, egg florentine,

The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

After arriving by train, we spent 1 night at Carnson House before taking the Scillonian next morning. We were in room 6, on the ground floor, opposite the breakfast room. Rob greeted us and made us feel welcome - he also gave a good recommendation for dinner, the Dolphin Tavern, which we were pleased with. Truly and lovely B&B. Located on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from Penzance with good pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and big enough to last us through lunch. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and decorated adorably. We even got little gifts of local wine! Highly recommended!
