  best hotel ever! We stayed in a twin oriental themed room, very tastefully done. In the words of my 11 yr old " Where else would you find a 19th century Tibetan bridal Sedan chair in your bedroom?" Very child friendly, lots of toys and games and the pool has flippers and balls etc for having fun with. Books on every imaginable subject adorn the place, you need - We all absolutely loved this hotel. It was warm, welcoming and friendly. We had two twin rooms. Both were spacious and included two armchairs and a coffee table Things that really pleased us were: fridge with fresh milk and bottled water fresh coffee with cafetiere teapot ironing board and iron full-sized toiletries in bathroom plenty of books everywhere in the hotel, plus games and jigsaws swimming pool beautiful gardens. wonderful restaurant meals wonderful breakfast I could go on and on.

  Room was clean, fresh, and really comfortable. Hotel is ideally situated as there is a lot going on locally. We loved the garden centre and the steam train, they are both in the country park just around the corner from the hotel. Recommend the breakfast at the restaurant next door, lovely fresh food, all looked and tasted fabulous.
