The breakfast will keep you going almost all day. Two recommendations, firstly have the steak & ale pie and second try to - Comfortable and clean. Food good. Friendly staff and lovely dog!!   We received a very friendly and helpful welcome, fairly late on a Saturday evening, when the hotel (and town) was very busy. Throughout our brief stay the staff were excellent and the breakfast (the only meal we took) was very good.
