On arrival you think it looks like a bad place to leave your car. On checking in the staff show how crime in the area is much lower than the town centre. We had a perfect view of the Mersey and watched the car ferry we were going to sail on arrive. Room was decorated lovely and bed really comfy. For the money we paid for a single night to save us travelling very early for the ferry it was well worth it. wszystkie opinie »
Room is big especially bathroom. The staff is friendly as well. Although the hotel are quite far from city center, the price of private taxi is so cheap, about 3 pounds to city center. That mean if you have 3 people, it will be 1 pound per person.
Everything except the location
20 min on foot from city centre
Owner very helpful, he even stayed at the hotel with us so that we feel safe since we were the only customers.
Friendly staff and walking distance to main attractions .
15 min walk into city centre.
Room was warm at all times.
It was value for money.
Room was clean
Bed was comfortable
Good view over the Mersey
Manager was helpful when we arrived.
Location OK.
thank god the heating was on all night, thats the only good point.
Location wasent too bad 3 quid for taxi into city center.
Nothing.
Limited check in time of 20:00 - we left early but if we had to work and then travel it night have been a problem.
The location, on the old industrial docks ; doesn't look lovely !.
Paper thin walls and late night noise from next door was a joke ( all night - you could get this from anywhere though ) , very industrial area and would suit backpacker and workers , not for young family . I enjoyed it myself as I liked the heritage but the wife was not impressed with the noise !!!!!.
no towels.
No towels in room when went to get them there was no one there.
The staff member when I arrived was very rude! Felt like they were looking down on me. And wasn't very friendly.
Very steep stairs(2 flights)
No central heating on in morning - in sub-zero temperatures!
No hot water for the washbasin in morning
Nowhere to sit in evening apart from the bed
Tea & milk not replenished after first evening
No breakfast available unless ordered before arrival.
No shampoo, teabags etc not replenished, room not cleaned over 5-day stay , no wardrobe.
the room was not clean,it could have done with some paint around the place including window frames.,the on suite was so small u could hardly move. it was in a back street area although it didnt look like it on the picture. they closed at 8.00pm i wouldnt recommend it to any one.
Everything stairs were very steep walls were paper thin no breakfast very overpriced staff not helpfull needing decorated damp and musty smell .
Staff got a achoo.
greeting was non existent, not shown to room. plumbing needs attention. needs to be updated. Staff needs to be more people friendly. Needs to inform of narrow steep stairs not suitable for people with limited mobility.
