  Very helpful owner who was friendly and welcoming. The inn has a lovely ambiance and situated in a fairly quiet part of the Lake District, but yet everything was is so amenable. Also, not forgetting some beautiful and challenging walks. Good menu with good food, (recommend the seafood platter). Used the spa which is situated, 10 minutes walk away,... co mówią ludzie » which is in a fairly large hotel which can get busy at weekends. The only negative is that due to the good atmosphere in the restraint the noise did - Excellent location in peaceful spot but close to Elterwater. Beautiful view with plenty of great walks on the doorstep. we had the luxury room which had great views. Very friendly and helpful bar and hotel staff. Nice bar with good menu. Two real ales on from local breweries. Relaxing hotel for get away weekend.
