The breakfast was excellent, as was our evening meal in the Mouldy Fig Restaurant (the food was superb and extremely reasonably priced). Staff very courteous. We really enjoyed our stay at The Elizabeth House Hotel. Our double room was lovely, very clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, in particular the young lady who checked us in at the front reception desk. As we had never visited Southampton before, we had a few tourist type questions and the young lady was happy to help us and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and there were plenty of tea and coffees sachets to keep me from being parched in the hot weather.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities

We liked the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness and the friendly and helpful staff and good breakfasts. - I loved the hotel for the extremely friendly atmosphere when I arrived at the hotel. The reception staf where more than riebdly and helpful.
