  Excellent little traditional Inn, with ultra-friendly staff with eight real Ales on tap, four of which are brewed in the micro-brewery downstairs. The staff were really helpful at all times, and on one occasion when I had a problem (completely unrelated to the hotel) they went out of their way to help me sort it out.   Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely young man from Germany who was working during his travels. After checking us in he showed us around the Hostel, ensuring we knew where the kitchen, toilets and showers were, before showing us to our room.   I loved the layout of the room, it was not to crowded which meant there was space to read and relax. The en-suite was amazing and I very much enjoyed the shower, even the shower gel dispenser I found quaint and easy to use. The staff themselves did not look down on me because I was a student in fact they were very efficient and charming. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also the breakfast was excellent value. We were in Sheffield for the snooker championships and the hotel was a short walk to the city centre and the venue.
