  The location is great; 10’ walk to the castle and plenty of local restaurants around. We were two couples and after reading some reviews, I had my reservations about the sofa bed. Especially given that I am quite toll (1.9mts - (6.3 feet). However both my partner and I fit comfortable, sleeping very well throughout the night.   It was a walkable distance from Edinburgh city centre. However I recommend taking a taxi from the train station so you don't have to walk with lots of bags. We found it very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. - It was a good flat. The only problem was the shower didnt work, other than that it was a decent place to stay Plenty of bed space
