Probably the best hostel I've stayed in London: new facilities, big rooms; bathrooms in the rooms as well as common ones on the floors so there's no need to wait for one to get free; great location near the Elephant and Castle tube station and a shopping centre; great common area.

We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.

It is an elegant hotel in a quiet but very nice district. It is very close to London Bridge, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Shakespeare globe. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes.
The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park.
We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too.

We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. This is the best hotel I had ever stayed in London. It has all facilities a busy traveller needs including excellent free internet in the rooms and wireless in the lobby, very responsive staff, spacious and impeccably clean rooms. Our room was lovely. The staff could not have been nicer. Upon our arrival theater tickets were ordered for us. We only had one night in London but were free the following day.
