The hotel is near all the main shopping and attractions. The honesty bar is great and reflects well on the hotel. Breakfast was right out of the top drawer. 1st class break.

Loved the space the apartment had! Was more a house than a mansion! Also the facilities we had, dishwasher,washing machine etc and the fact they left us products to use facilities like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, rubber gloves. -
It is realy a nice apartment with big rooms and adequate facilities. It's staff are very kind and helpful.

Very close to Princess Street with its many shops and eating places,with the train station a short walk away.
Food was good and the staff very friendly and helpful, the lounge area was warm and inviting and the rooms clean and comfortable.
- The bed was very comfortable, and very big! The staff in the Bistro were really friendly as well.

The decor was great in the hotel. Was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. It felt tremendously homely and the bed was so comfortable. Went for the weekend ghost hunting and the hotel added to the ambience. The bath had jets in it and since Edinburgh is so hilly sorted out our weary legs. Would definately go again and recommend. When we arrived the introduction/explanation of services etc was good with clear, simple explanation of what to do and where things were. The 'owners' were very welcoming.
Brown's was very clean; there was good provision of every day items, teas, coffees and toiletries.
Breakfast was also good with a good range of items.
No critique at all.

We stayed in a recently refurbished rom and it was very comfortable and quiet. A new large shower cubicle and shower had been installed and was very welcoming first thing in the morning. Everything was fabulous!The hotel was very clean and nice, the position couldn't have been better, close to everything, great view. The room is brand new, with modern decoration and fully equiped. We apreciated very much that there were facilities in the room to make tea, coffee or hot chocolate and they provided as water for free and even cookies.I strongly recommend this hotel!
