The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and I had left valuables in my room (forgot to put them in the free safe) and the cleaners did not steal anything. We liked everything about this hotel. The reception staff were organised, friendly, welcoming and efficient. A good hotel in ideal location to Birmingham New Street station.
After my very disturbed first night I went to the Reception desk next morning and asked if I could be given another Room where I was likely to be able to get a good nights sleep. The receptionist was very pleasant & most helpful.
She kindly arranged for my Room to be switched to No.310. This proved a huge improvement and I slept soundly all through Saturday night. I was very grateful.

Booked at short notice, based on reviews on this site. Just returned home. Having stayed we can say that the reviews were spot-on! We had a twin room on the 3rd floor, it was very spacious, the beds were
comfortable with a choice of pillows which was a nice touch. The towels
were a good size and quality and the soap/shampoo(etc) dispensers in
the bathroom were again a brilliant touch. The coffee machine in the
lobby was brilliant and gave nice strong hot coffee. The staff were also
cheerful and helpful. The hotel is well situated for shopping in
