  We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We had completed the "Special Requirements" part of the booking form regarding check in time and received a call from the Brasserie on the same day who were happy to help and accomodate our request. We had booked a double room and were given the apartment adjacent to the hotel which was very well decorated, roomy and well - Very attractive and quirky hotel with a great frontage for taking refreshments...even had a heated wooden gazebo! Great room - very spacious and comfortable. Even though there was music every evening it was not noisy. Fab menu and a buzzy atmosphere in the evening. Very attentive staff who were friendly and helpful. Best fruit salad as part of the breakfast that we have had for a long time.   Good sized room, everything I needed for overnight stay. Room overlooked garden which was pretty and quiet but imagine it would be a busy (noisey) beer garden in high summer. Decor modern, bathroom with double shower. Location excellent for RHS Harlow Carr visit.   our group loved everything, very friendly very helpful beautiful surrondings, having breakfast is what I miss most background music ,lovely food ,good service dont get that at home - very clean hotel and very clean room .nice staff good organizing at breakfast. was a lovley freindly ,homley feel in the hotel.excellent location

  It suited us for a convenient place to stay. as we were attending a funeral at the near cemetery. Good venue for visiting Harrogate & Knaresborough also near York. Excellent meal in the evening.
