  The meal we had in the restaurant was lovely and at a good price. The atmosphere was very relaxed, staff were very friendly. Overall it is a a very good hotel to stay in, nice sized room tec. - Easy access, bar/restaurant close by. Close to village centre. Clean, tidy room. Friendly approachable staff.

  It was set right by the canal and we had could see a swan swimming by. All the staff we saw were really helpful and happy, and we had a lovely dinner and very filling breakfast at the associated Beefeater.   Room was excellent. Bed was very comfy, although quite soft which could be a problem for some. The shower area was big enough to fit several people (if that's your sort of thing). What I had at breakfast was nice.
