  We'd spent the afternoon sightseeing in King's Lynn but none of the hotels we found advertised in kl sounded as interesting or as good value as the Crown, so decided to drive the 7 miles out of kl and enjoy the lovely rural scenery along the way. The towels were thick & fluffy. There were even teddy bears on the shelf! The shar - This is probably the best pub in East Anglia. Brilliant atmosphere, fantastic food, intelligent, helpful staff and sensible prices. Oh -- and dog-friendly, too. It's hugely popular with locals -- and no wonder. This place is buzzing. If all pubs were like this the trade wouldn't be in such a bad state. It is open all day every day, serving drinks and food.
