The fact that my partner and i did not make it for breakfast after a rather late night an although check out time was stated at 10am, the staff left us till 12 ish ( much appreciated ) - Nice clean rooms, look as if they have recently been re decorated.

Carol and Bob were the loveliest couple who were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made us feel like welcome friends in a non-intrusive way. The town center is few minutes walk from the B&B where we had pleasant dinner. It was one of the best stays during our week sent traveling around Scotland. If you travel by car and visit Stirling castle, we recommend The Knowe Guest House to stay before or after.

This is more like a 5 star hotel than a B&B though you would never get such friendly service in a hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the accommodation (super comfy beds, beautiful furnishings, wide screen TVs), the wonderful owners for whom nothing is too much trouble, the delicious breakfasts and the stunning surroundings.

Having arrived, we were greeted by Lorraine, who very kindly offered us tea and cake before we were taken to our room. This was much appreciated and very welcome. Lorraine and Derek are fantastic hosts. Helpful in every way possible. We were in The Pitlochary Room, which was beautiful. Varied choice for breakfast, and very good it was too. I cannot find fault in this B&B, and would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit Callendar. We also had no problem parking outside the B&

Parking in guest house grounds was a definite plus. Enjoyed our one night stay very much. We were made very welcome along with our dog. Would definitely return. -
