Right on the estuary of the River Tweed, - This is a very nice hostel in a really cool old building with cool modern furnishings. The staff person on duty was very accommodating when we arrived late, and she was there again in the morning serving breakfast! We booked a family room for us and our two older sons, which worked out well. We even had our own private bath, which is definitely a plus when hosteling. There was even free car parking right outside the door, even though the listing said there wasn't any.

  Very warm welcome from the owner who offered me tea on arrival and carried my bag to the room. Nice room with comfy bed and hot shower, very nice breakfast with views down the river. 2 mins walk from the satation if arriving by train. Our room looked straight out onto the rail bridge and river. Stunning. The double glazing on the windows made the room very quiet. Close proximity to the town centre.
