We had a huge room - loved the canopy bed. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly. The mint on the pillow was a really nice touch! - The four poster bed and size of the room made the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The location so close to the city centre. The staff professional, curteous, kind & could not do enough to ensure my Mum & I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious plenty of choice. Queen Charlottes Orangery is unique. It is like stepping into a fairy tale with its' beautiful furnishings and garden. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Greg who showed us to our room called Sofia which was absolutely delightful with a four poster bed and all the comforts one would expect from a four/five star hotel. We cannot recommend the Tasburgh highly enough! Sue, the proprieter, is the most genuinely caring person and was so helpful to us throughout our stay. I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. Food can be kept in the fridges in the self catering kitchen and all cooking facilities from microwaves to gas cookers and ovens. Like with any hostel, take padlocks a
