  As per all the reviews that I read the owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Every where was nice and clean and a superb breakfast cooked to order. Try 'The Oak' public house about 5 minutes walk away for great food and a good selection of beers etc. - Warm, friendly welcome. Hotel was lovely and authentic. Rooms comfortable and clean. Plenty of tea/coffee making facilities. Wide variety for breakfast - as in cereal, fruit and cakes with the added cooked breakfast (although I thought one piece of bacon and one sausage not enough). On the whole would definitely stay there again as it is very close to the RAF base. Also there are a few pubs/restaurants in the quiet village so you don't have to eat at the hotel.

  I booked this very last minute as a stop off and wasn't expecting too much. How wrong I was. The room, though small, was perfectly formed as they say with everything we needed. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was delicious. - Comfortable, friendly, accommodation, that had free parking in a rural setting.
