  A lovely family run hotel with great views of Lake Maggiore and the Alps. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was easy to be understood in english if necessary.   We only stayed over for a night during over travels and found the hotel quite comfortable. The room was small with a tiny bathroom, but efficient for one night. The restaurant is brilliant – their home-made pasta delicious! The hotel was conveniently situated next to the station.   We regularly travel to Italy by car and so need a place to overnight in Switzerland. This is the best place we've stayed - you really can't fault it. It's close to the motorway,Gottard tunnel and so easy to find, but quiet. Plenty of parking, good size clean, comfortable rooms, good food at reasonable prices, very pleasant lounge and bar areas.
