  Beautiful view from the hotel, combined with great quality and service. Staff is great; they really made an effort to make our stay perfect.   Very welcoming, Excellent rooms and restaurant . When I left belongings behind, returned unsolicited by post to UK. Will certainly visit again. - Our room had a lovely smell of fresh pine and was very new. The shower was excellent and everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good.

  Service was excellent - There was heavy snowfall and the owner came and rescued us from the bottom of the hill. The food was 'home style' typically Swiss and delightful.   The location was great with having the train across the street for access for day trips. You can also get a pass from the hotel for free train rides to Montreux and Lausanne. They gave us free tickets to ride the train to Montreux and half off cards for Chillon Castle! The windows/door are very sound proof so even though it's close to the road and train station, noise is not a problem at all when everything is closed. The terrasse is a lovely view to have a drink and/or snack.

  The hotel is very nice, the rooms are nice and new, and clean of course. Looks even better than in the pictures. The hotel is just in the center of a small countryside town which is 20 min away from Geneva, so very convenient if you plan to go there.
