  no need to drive up to davos as the hotel is situated right across from the train station. the hotel is very stylish and a 5 minute walk from the city centre and jakobshorn funicular station. the rooms are very cozy and the beds very comfortable. on my last stay I had a smaller bathroom then usual. Service is really good. If you like hiking, they even provide a proper backpack for you to use, in case you dont have one or it isnt suited for that. Lovely lovely place. It is more expensive than the average around, but totally worth it.

When we arrived dogged tired at 10pm, we were greeted warmly by the elder of the Stamatakis brothers and shown to our nice, comfortable and warm looking room. We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past.
