the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests.
there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too.

We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything.
As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin.
Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly.
Big bonus, it has an elevator.

It was a very pretty area, relaxing for a short stay. Mybstaybwas only 4 days l'm spent it visiting the cable car lifts, and the villages close by. The village is beautiful, clean and easybtonget around. Little English is spoken but there is always a way to communicate. -

We loved everything about the hotel.It was the most relaxing break, all staff were so helpful and friendly. We had our dog with us and he was made very welcome. It is in a peaceful village and so very close to the Railway station so it was easy to access all that the region offers. We are already checking our dates to book again for next year! A wonderful hotel!

The original room was very nice however the room offered for the last night (which was requested after the booking) was not very nice and we checked out on that day instead of staying. The hotel is right in the centre of Meiringen, with shops and a few restaurants nearby. It has good WiFi access, and free outdoor parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was OK, with fresh bread, fruit, cheese and some fruit. One could boil some eggs yourself if required.

The hotel was excellent and exceeded my expectations of a three star hotel. The staff were not only professional but also welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet was top class and the evening meal delicious. Good location for ski bus and gondola.
