I really liked my stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The staff was very polite and answered all our questions. The service was prompt. I booked the "small room" which was offered at a very reasonable rate and was delighted with the room, whilst it was smaller than the normal rooms due to a very good design it still felt spacious and luxurious. The gym which Berns guests can use at the grand hotel was also excellent and a real treat to use. Excellent location and friendly staff. -

The tour's (walking city, horror and sauna) that were run by the hostel were great. The free use of internet, free tea and coffee and pasta. Good location and walking distance to everything we needed. - very nice staff, pleasant and friendly place.

The hotel's location is perfect in the middle of everything with a fantastic view on the Royal Palace. The staff is very friendly - beyond even what one would expect in a hotel of that class. Tip: Instead of the buffet breakfast (and if you don't have the breakfast included in your package) eat a la carte in the bar with the view on the Palace - breath-taking!

Walking distance to city centre/train station but there is a tube station close by as well as bus stops. Easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area, near park. Sufficient breakfast option. Room/bathroom (en suite) size is more than adequate and bed comfortable. Room looked new. Being there in the winter, the room was nice and warm. Many TV channels including programmes in English. Can even buy stamps at the hotel.
