  When I initially booked my accommodation at this hotel I asked for a double room that had plenty of fresh air, as I suffer if exposed to cigs smoke or various smelly things. To accommodate this request they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom self contained apartment at no extra cost. From the apartment it was a nice walk into the old city and we enjoyed our stroll there. The cafe o - The price is really good and the rooms are fully refurbished and with a private bathroom with shower. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there wasn't any noise whatsoever. The staff were friendly and there's a bistro bar downstairs. There's plenty of parking space around the hostel

  Very clean room, very polite service and I found the staff very accommodating. The hotel was in the centre of everything and in a safe clean neighbourhood. - Great "Family feel" and wonderfully clean - obviously very well cared for!

  Really liked Hostal Mexicana. A well-run and well-kept hostal. Really comfy beds. Clean throughout. Decor a little dated but quaint. Excellent location of hostal too. Santander is a great place for short break: mountains, sea, city and good food. - Just next to the main square! Very friendly and helpful staff.
