  The area is very central and safe. The walks along the beach are good with plenty of bars and restaurants that give good value. The public transport is excellent. I must compliment Diego in the reception of the hotel who was very helpful in relocating us to a better apartment. - The size of the apartment was good. The location was good.   The apartment was excellent and great value for money. It felt secure and there is a supermarket very close by. Really good transport links (you can get just about anywhere on the island from the local bus station) and San Marcos has a nice beach and is within walking distance.
