Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget.
Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the
surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the
additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in
Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt
comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

Newly decorated rooms with sufficient space and particularly comfortable shower. Friendly and helpful staff (willing to leave us some breakfast, ready for us to have prior to the actual opening of the breakfast, as we had to leave before that time). Id stayed here quite some month ago and the hotel was full of teething problems as only been open a few days. I then stayed again but was to soon to review it.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, the decor is of a very high standard and all staff are more than helpfull.
The location is excellent and when ever i visit Valencia in future i would try and stay here.

Very nice and familiar Hostel, simple and clean, there is no fuss or
'design' but all you need is sbsolutely there-you immediately
feel at home. Owners are friendly and preparé fabulous toast wirh jam
and butter - ask to replace the Butter with Oliveoil, it's a spanish
specialty how to have breakfast. Recomendable!
