  Pensión La Salve is not too hard to find if you do your homework. Look for it using Google Earth. If you go through Puente de La Salve it should be easy to get there. Our room (junior suite) had a great view on the river and the Guggenheim museum. The coloured windows are a somewhat strange gimmick, but you get used to it... co mówią ludzie » after a while. We enjoyed being able to rent bicycles at the hotel and discover Bilbao at our own speed. Breakfast includes some quite tasty bread! - The free bikes were great. Bilbao is excellent for cycling around and we managed to get way further than on foot. Staff were really exceptionally friendly and pleasant. We used their package that included the bikes and Guggenheim tickets. Convenient. Ideally situated for the Guggenheim and old city.
