  I will not recommend this place because I hate the idea that it will atready be fully booked when I try to book it at my next visit to Cape Town. Stay away!   The setting overlooking Table Bay and the Waterfront, the sunsets and sunrises (if the weather be good!!). The welcome from the staff even though we were late arrivals.   Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful. Joe and Marius, the owners, are incredibly accommodating. They will stop by breakfast every morning, tell you about the weather, and recommend things to do. Breakfast is wonderful and personalized to your wants. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this

  We stayed in Cape Standard for 4 nights and had the perfect experience. David and his staff are amazing, very helpful and easy-going and made us feel very welcome. They assist you with everything and recommended really good places to eat where to locals go as well.   Very good price/quality. owner very nice, ready to help. very good breakfast - Nicely run with friendly owners. Very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. Rooms were very clean with the convenience of your own entrance to rooms to enable you to come and go as you please. I would not hesitate to return or recommend to a friend.
