  The setting overlooking Table Bay and the Waterfront, the sunsets and sunrises (if the weather be good!!). The welcome from the staff even though we were late arrivals.   Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful. Joe and Marius, the owners, are incredibly accommodating. They will stop by breakfast every morning, tell you about the weather, and recommend things to do. Breakfast is wonderful and personalized to your wants. The room we stayed in was lovely and had every amenity we needed. Though it was too c - I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this

  We stayed in Cape Standard for 4 nights and had the perfect experience. David and his staff are amazing, very helpful and easy-going and made us feel very welcome. They assist you with everything and recommended really good places to eat where to locals go as well. Because the room, was not being used on our last day, they offered us to keep it until our plane left at night which was just great. Br - The outside courtyard is really lovely and peaceful. A great place to have breakfast or relax in the afternoon.
