Bayleaf was an excellent option - it's good value in a city that seems to cater to only the low and high ends, with a gaping hole for the mid-range market.   One thing I like during my stay at Paragon Hotel was that it made me feel like its home. Room is so quite and the bed is very comfortable. I absolutely love the pillows and blankets, I was able to sleep good. I never sleep so good every time i go to manila except from my stay there.I felt so comfortable during my stay. The small number of staff in the Paragon Cafe were exceptionally good and the breakfasts were tasty and sufficient.
