I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in
Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in
time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and
spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice
shower, toilet and kitchen. Air conditioning and heating facilities

Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

The central location was excellent, close to most attractions, the train
station and bus/tram stations. Room and other facilities throughout
the boat are clean and tidy. Breakfast is plentiful though nothing
fancy. Staff Christian is excellent, friendly and always helpful. They

It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting! Also if you arrive early in the morning it is given you breakfast to go.

Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expected on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot.

Amsterdam's a walkable city and the Avanti is just right in the Middle of the City a 7 minutes walk from the Central Station! Made life really easy as I could explore and return at anytime without bothering when the tram and the like would close.

The location was the best thing about this hotel - it is right next to the red light district - which is pretty central to everywhere in Amsterdam - all the places we wanted to visit were at most a 20 minute walk away, therefore public transport was not needed. Everything was really nice - room had new furniture and everything was nice and clean, bathroom also was very nice. The beds were huge and it was very warm in the room. Breakfast was also nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great - exactly in the centre, close to central station and to all the shops and sight seeing -

Clean, bright, airy. Good breakfast spread, authentic dutch stairs, good lockers, good location. And even some pretty designs -- that's saying something for a hostel! Bar seemed good too though I didn't get to join that fun.
Though my stay here was brief, this was one of the best hostels I've stayed at.
