  Very unique establishment in a very unique town. A very special / different experience that I will always remember. The view is breathtaking, the air is very fresh and you get to enjoy both worlds of mountains and dream-like beaches. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they accommodated every request we had.   We were given a first-floor apartment with kitchenette and terrace from which we could watch the moon rise while dining. The swimming pool at the hotel was so comfortable and tempting that I could hardly leave the hotel for one of the nice surrounding beaches.   Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), - We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. A car is required, there are no buses over the weekend and no official cab company nearby, but some neighbour or friend - We had a nice evening with a lot of interesting people which we met during the good dinner. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean, you'll find everything you need. The location is a little bit lonely but typical for a agriturismo and there are two awesome beaches nearby (only reached by car though). Thank you for the pleasant stay!
