  A modern, clean apartment on the hill above Trieste. Our apt had a spacious, well stocked kitchen which included a dishwasher and clothes washing machine, Roberto and Roberta were extremely friendly and helpful.   The hotel was very nice inside and the rooms were very clean. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city center--the bus station and train station--with the bus stop being 100 yards away from the hotel. The hotel staff was very willing to help us with any questions we had about getting around the city. The owner, Lydia, was very nice and helpful with everything from restaurants to contacts with the police when we got parking fines! Comfortable rooms with a big common terrace. Well worth the money! The staff were extremely helpful, directing us to parking (with a special hotel rate), recommending and booking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner (which was excellent) and even chilling a bottle of wine we'd brought with us. The room was amazing, clean and luxurious, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.
